*SHIPPING*
We use registered courier services for domestic orders within India and DHL Express/FedEx/Aramex for international orders.
Our studio follows a made-to-order approach to minimize waste, meaning production starts only after an order is confirmed online. Typically, international orders are dispatched within 20-23 business days, while domestic orders take 18-21 business days. You will receive an email with the estimated delivery date after placing your order.
Please note that Sundays and public holidays are not counted as working days for standard deliveries.
*SHIPPING CHARGES*
Domestic shipping within India is free. For international orders, standard shipping fees range from INR 1500 to INR 5000, depending on location, weight, and volume. We offer free shipping for international orders exceeding INR 40,000 or USD 500.
*INTERNATIONAL DUTIES & TAXES*
Duties and taxes for international orders are not included in the order total and must be paid separately at the time of delivery. These charges are levied by the destination country and vary based on the product and location. You will be required to pay these fees directly to the shipping company (DHL, FedEx, Aramex, etc.) upon delivery, after receiving an invoice from the shipping agent.
*INDIAN GST*
All prices listed on our website are inclusive of Indian GST.
*PRODUCT SHIPPING*
All orders are processed from our warehouse/workshop in Ahmedabad, India. Orders will be shipped to the address provided at checkout.
*TRACKING YOUR ORDER*
Once your order is processed and shipped, you can track it using the consignment/tracking number provided by the shipping agency. We will email you the tracking number and shipping agency details once your order is dispatched. You can also track your order in the Order History section of your Sakhii Studio account.
In case of non-availability at the time of delivery, our delivery partners will make three attempts to deliver the package before returning it to us. Please ensure that your shipping address is complete and accurate, including the zip code and a mobile number, to facilitate timely delivery.
For international orders, if a customer is unavailable for delivery, the shipping company (DHL, Aramex, or FedEx) can hold the shipment for up to 7 working days. After this period, the shipment will be returned to us in India. The customer/consignee will bear the cost of duties/taxes at the port in India for the return shipment plus the re-shipping cost to the destination country. Please notify us if you will be unavailable after placing an order on our website. If the shipment reaches you and you are unavailable, and the shipping company returns the shipment to India, no cancellation or refund will be possible. For re-shipping, you will need to bear the cost of duties/taxes at the port in India plus the freight cost, causing a significant delay.
If a customer refuses to bear the customs duty/tax charges at the port in India for the return shipment, the shipment will remain with Indian customs indefinitely, and we will not be able to provide further assistance.
*PAYMENT METHODS*
For domestic shipping within India, we accept all major debit and credit cards (including Mastercard, Visa, and American Express) and provide Net Banking options across major banks. For all international transactions, we accept major credit and debit cards (including Mastercard, Visa, and American Express) and offer PayPal as a payment option at checkout on our website.
*CANCELLATION & REFUND*
Customers can request a cancellation and refund within 3 days of placing an order. A 5% cancellation/handling fee (of the order value) will be charged for account/card refunds. Once an order enters production, cancellation and refund are not possible. Our production process is labor-intensive and handcrafted, meaning orders already underway cannot be canceled or refunded. Once shipped, orders cannot be canceled.
During sales, returns, exchanges, and refunds are not applicable. Exchanges will only be entertained if the product has a defect or problem.
Our fulfillment timeline does not include delays caused by unforeseen events such as natural disasters, war, calamities, fire, or epidemics. In such circumstances, orders will be processed and dispatched once production and supply chains resume. No cancellations or refunds are possible in such events.
*RETURNS (if applicable)*
To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, in its original packaging with tags, and returned within 7 working days. This applies to domestic (within India) returns only. For international returns, logistics and customs issues often prevent successful return shipments. The freight to India, duty/tax payment at the port in India, and freight back to the respective country are to be borne by the customer. International returns are only possible for exchanges, not refunds. Please contact us at refund@sakhiistudio.in for queries regarding international returns.
*REFUNDS (upon return)*
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you via email. If approved, your refund will be issued as a store credit note redeemable on your next purchase. A credit note can only be used for in-store purchases on sakhiistudio.in and cannot be exchanged for cash. For questions about returns and refunds, please contact us at refund@sakhiistudio.in.
*EXCHANGES (if applicable)*
We replace/exchange items only if they are defective, damaged from our end, or have a size issue. If you need to exchange an item, send us an email at refund@sakhiistudio.in. Items must be in the original packaging with tags and returned within 7 days.
For international orders, exchanges might not be possible due to substantial duty/tax charges and logistical hurdles. Please write to us at refund@sakhiistudio.in to check the possibility of an exchange for international orders.
For returning or exchanging items, unless the product was received in a defective condition, the customer is responsible for paying their own shipping costs and duty/tax payment on the return shipment charged by Indian customs at the port of entry.
*ORDER DELAY*
We strive to fulfill all orders within the specified timeline (currently 20-23 days), but due to the hand-intensive nature of our production, delays may occur. Our delivery timeline is approximate, and while most orders are fulfilled within this period, some may be delayed due to production or logistics issues. We do not offer cancellations or refunds on delayed orders as they would already be in the production cycle. We will keep you updated if your order is delayed and ensure it is dispatched at the earliest possible date.

During sales, returns, exchanges, and refunds are not applicable. Exchanges will only be entertained if the product has a defect or problem.
